Bud Billiken Parade

The Salvation Army will participate in the 85th Bud Billiken Day Parade, an annual celebration produced by Chicago Defender Charities, Inc. to provide underprivileged children with the chance to be in the limelight. It is also a great reminder for Chicago students that it’s back to school time!

The Chicago Midwest Corps will be representing The Salvation Army in the parade this year, so on the lookout for their famous steel drum group “Pans of Thunder”!

This year Chicago Defender Charities has added an exciting element to the parade called The Bud Billiken Parade 360 Experience! Become a member of the Chicago Defender Charities and you will automatically be enrolled to vote for your favorite group (The Salvation Army!) in the 2014 Bud Billiken Parade. Make sure to vote for us on parade day!
